If you have a puppy that likes to chew on plastic, don't get this one. My toddler chewed through every cheap plastic clip. Then I decided to replace them with metal clips. When we got it out of the car, sand was dripping out of the Velcro on the bottom. We strap our pups in, so this feature seemed like a good idea BUT it didn't help prevent a dirty seat underneath. My curious pup stuck his head through the Velcro opening only to find the rubber backing of this tarp. crushed. We took extra care when setting it up, but it doesn't seem right for a small pup. It's also very annoying to get our dogs out having to unwrap the side strap from the top door handle every time.
