I have had many bluetooth headphones in the past and these are by far the ones with the strongest bluetooth connection. I have a wall like this in my house with heavy shielding and none of my other bluetooth devices can work without freezing or completely shutting down except these. Pairing from stereo to mono and vice versa is seamless. You need to connect both separately as BE-S1 and BE-S1L to use one of them for mono mode because the right one is the master. Unlike many others who often get confused when switching back to stereo, they rarely do. For best results, pick up the right earbud (master) just before the left (slave). Also, the connection confirmation is a pleasant short tone instead of long voice prompts that can be annoying. In terms of looks, while the design itself is clean and thin, the thickness makes them stand out as they stick out of the ear quite a bit. . What I like is that there are no LEDs at all during use. They're quite comfortable and I haven't had any problems with air pressure, even though there's no ventilation system to equalize the pressure. The housing itself picks up on the design of the headphones – ingeniously. The exterior has a matte texture with no logos and feels good in the hand. There is a battery indicator on the back of the rubber cover that only flashes when the headphones are put back in place. Finally decent sound for the price range. The focus is on the mids with slightly set back highs. The bass is completely missing. However, despite the flat response, I've found these to be the ones I turn to the most in a work situation due to the highly reliable stable connection and long battery life. They are good for vocals, especially for podcasts/performing/teaching.
