Easy if u only need one roll

The wall in my entryway was wider than one of these rolls so I needed multiple. I could not figure out why the lines wouldn't line up. Then I noticed the rolls were cut differently. The vertical lines were thicker on one roll than the other. I've done plumbing and electrical that was easier than this! Being a perfectionist with OCD this is NOT acceptable.
