The pitcher is clear acrylic so should last a very long time if you don't really abuse it. i love lemon water I drink a lot. I only like fresh lemons for my lemon water and I love very cold water. I also have a habit of picking seeds, but that's another story. So I fill the pitcher about 3/4 full with ice, but every few scoops I squeeze lemons 🍋. Once I've squeezed out most of the juice, I place the peel in the cylinder I already have. Then I add water when I'm done with ice and lemon in my drink. I squeeze an extra lemon into the water. Then I put it in the fridge for a few hours. Tasty and cold. I can easily drink an entire pitcher in a day. Maybe one day I'll try something else in it, but it makes great lemon water.
