SLR lens that "crawls" can be very annoying. This is the second lens strap I've bought because: 1) it does what it's supposed to do. 2) There is no other solution. 3) It is made of durable material. ,", especially on larger lenses, but I use it on a Nikkor 28-300mm, which is quite large, and don't see a problem. Maybe people try to move the whole band up and down the lens barrel, which is a bit is difficult and time consuming, but to stabilize the lens, all you need to do is put the tape on the moving part of the lens barrel, then pull a small part of the strap over the fixed part of the lens barrel, when you need to use the lens, you can move the small part of the strap slightly to allow the barrel to move freely. Some people complain about the price, but although it looks like a large rubber strap or bracelet, it isn't. This material is much stronger and should be last as long as your lens, plus the people who designed it earn a few extra bucks for innovating.
