Exactly what it says in the accessory

I bought this for an old Canon EF lens that has started to "slip" a bit when zoomed in. It works well. It's a little difficult to stay in place when you're actually adjusting the zoom, but once you've got the zoom in place and put the strap on it doesn't slip. I use this particular lens as a "robot" with a timer, so it's perfect for this application. This band can also be useful for quickly identifying a specific lens as it comes in a wide variety of colors.

  • Excellent construction

The rubber band prevents the lens barrel from slipping!

Hey this is a glowing rubber band, color of your choice, that stops lens rotation for lenses that don't have an internal lock. Simply place it on the lens, slide it to the very edge of the lens and when not shooting, slide it forward to hook (overlap) the outer lens barrel. When you're ready to shoot, just move it back. Why not just use that rubber band you stole from your stationery? It's much thicker, stronger, less prone to breakage, glides without rolling and comes in cool colors.

Some confusion at first

At first it looks like a rubber band. And for the most part, it's just a sturdy/durable rubber band. I had a hard time putting this on a Sony 18-250 lens because there was little stretch. This package didn't have many instructions. During installation I could not focus the lens at all. But after some trial and error I moved the bar to a few specific positions and it works great. My lens feels like a brand new lens with a large lens shift, so I can adjust the focus at will. You can also set it…

Best solution when used correctly

SLR lens that "crawls" can be very annoying. This is the second lens strap I've bought because: 1) it does what it's supposed to do. 2) There is no other solution. 3) It is made of durable material. ,", especially on larger lenses, but I use it on a Nikkor 28-300mm, which is quite large, and don't see a problem. Maybe people try to move the whole band up and down the lens barrel, which is a bit is difficult and time consuming, but to stabilize the lens, all you need to do is put the tape on the
