Review on BikeMaster Removable Heated Grip Covers for Enhanced Comfort and Performance (AM112012) by Edwin White

Amazing ride on a 40 degree morning.

As it got colder in NorCal, the morning commute, which was bearable in the 35 degree weather, became increasingly difficult for my fingers. I drive 25 minutes on the freeway at about 60 miles per hour and by the time I get to my destination my fingertips are numb. They practically stayed like that for most of the day, even after they were in the office. After installing them on my 16 Vulcan 1700, I got my fingers toasted the entire trip. Although the ear pads don't completely cover my bike's handlebars, the area where the heating elements are located is ideal. I put them on so that the heating element was between my palm and fingers. The amount of heat they give off is enough to warm your fingers and like the others mentioned, they get pretty hot. I didn't mind at all, and where I placed the switch I can just turn it off next to the handlebar grip. I am ordering another set for my supersport they are so good.
