Very sensitive to pressure. I highly recommend installing an adjustable pressure regulator on the handle. Too much pressure and the padding will tear, too little pressure will not work fully. BUT, once the correct pressure is used, it works flawlessly! All air tools have an optimal pressure setting, but this is particularly important. So still highly recommended because it's really outstanding and at a great price. I was concerned after reading several other reviews but they exceeded even my wildest expectations. It only took a minute or two to find the right settings. I'm new to upholstery. I was forced into this after receiving a $9,000 offer to ship my Crownline 225LPX boat. I made it about 1/3 of the way. I couldn't do it without this nail gun. for your information. I'm doing this for a total cost of under $1,000 including all the upholstery, foam, glue, carpet and this nail gun. (I mentioned pressure not only because of the differences in compressors, lines, padding, struts, and gun construction, but especially because of the regulators. So take that with a grain of salt. Using 3/8 stainless steel on marine vinyl, my regulator reads 95 lbs per Square inches for a 6 hp supercharged, 30 gallon, 155 psi
