Review on COATS CLARK S940 0100 Thread 225 Yard by Jessica Lewis

I love this fine fine thread from Coats. I am sewing my daughter's wedding dress from silk charmeuse. Obviously I wanted to use thread strong enough to avoid a wardrobe malfunction on her wedding day. However, regular yarn was too thick and heavy for silk, and I couldn't create nice, perfectly balanced stitches or seams with it. This fine thread is perfect for charmeuse and the stitches lie beautifully. You will need a #9 sewing machine needle, although a #10 needle will work in a pinch, as well as a #9 or #10 hand sewing needle. Thread is included. amazing color palette and strong enough. As another reviewer mentioned, it lints a lot. I hate and generally refuse to use a stream that sheds a lot of fluff. However, this thread met all my needs at a reasonable price and is readily available. I only use compressed air and clean the looper area daily when sewing with this thread.
