Wonderful thread

I sewed a shirt from cotton cambric - I needed a light weight. a smaller tex thread that blends well with the fabric. This thread worked well, it's strong and didn't kink my fabric. i love this thread.

THREAD TYPE

This thread was recommended by Janet Prey of Islander Designs for her shirt pattern. I have always used Aurafil or Mettler thread but since she recommended it I decided to give it a try. I haven't made a shirt yet, so I can't comment on this thread over the ones I usually use.

Fine polyester thread for delicate fabrics

I love this fine fine thread from Coats. I am sewing my daughter's wedding dress from silk charmeuse. Obviously I wanted to use thread strong enough to avoid a wardrobe malfunction on her wedding day. However, regular yarn was too thick and heavy for silk, and I couldn't create nice, perfectly balanced stitches or seams with it.
