I need Bluetooth so I can use my thermal printer with my iPhone because I need WiFi so I don't have to worry about connecting to compatible devices got to. I have a very old (probably not compatible with everything) MacBook and will most likely get a new MacBook that no longer has USB. an idea of what I was doing. The building instructions were ok, but after that the printing instructions weren't the best. On the first print I got 2 labels mixed up and the corner piece of the job was wrapped around the roll (which was difficult to remove because the label is sticky). I had to force the reel to move so I could peel off the part of the label that was stuck to the reel or it would keep flashing. I was able to get everything working after a few tries, but troubleshooting instructions would be very helpful! Here's what I learned so you can skip over my mistakes. (1) Make sure that the label printer and label holder are almost perfectly aligned with the machine so that they are not fed in at an angle. Also make sure that after tearing off a label, the next label is not torn off. (2) I couldn't figure out which option to use when printing from a screenshot of an image to work with the full label size (it prints small or blurry), but I found I can just open it as a PDF . I did NOT have to do all of these steps to transfer to WhatsApp, Skype or Facebook. I don't understand why this step is even necessary. In Pirate Ship (the app I use for my small business), after creating the label, I choose *Open PDF File* in FBA Print (you choose this from all your apps that pop up). And then the label will appear in FBA Print without those extra steps. It then prints fine on a 4x6 label. All packages I have ever sent with this device have arrived at my customers. For those new to shipping, use this printer, extra thermal labels (since there are few), a letter scale, and a tape measure to determine weight and dimensions. Also, to know the correct shipping cost from the shipping label provider of your choice. Not all thermal printer color options support Bluetooth. Please check the description if you need bluetooth. Overall I recommend this product it makes my life easier and very easy to use now knowing I actually know what I'm doing.
