The reinforced pin fits my Yamaha outboard perfectly.
I have a new Yamaha F70 4 stroke and these cotter pins are designed for heavier conditions than the stock castle nut pins. It still fit easily when I lubricated the post after 20 hours of service, but it was slightly longer and thicker than the OEM Yamaha, which is a good thing. I feel comfortable that my support stays in place.
