I had to replace an element in my oven and put too much weight on the door in the process. So much so that the door doesn't close completely. Not only are the new door hinges a true PIA, they are also significantly more expensive than the Element. An extensive search for alternatives finally led me to a YouTube video of a man using these magnets to keep his oven door closed. Ceramic means they can withstand heat when switched on and off, and the size is such that you can spread and stack them as needed. Voila, no new loops required. They work great after Thanksgiving and it's almost Valentine's Day. Completely ruined my excuse to buy a new 1k gas range. Maybe for my birthday.
