My 9 year old daughter needed tall wellies for a hike. When my son left a few years ago we bought him extra tuffs but they are very expensive for someone who will be a grown up in a year. These Hunter boots were a great option. Not that expensive but they are big and worked very well. They also come in beautiful colors that I don't care about but my daughter does. we bought her in purple and she was warm, dry and very stylish during her excursion. They are comfortable and she has worn them with me on several 3-4 mile hikes. I am very happy with these boots.
