Wow. That 5000k is BRIGHT! So bright that we had to re-order the 2700k temp for the room we were making. But we were so impressed with these lights that we kept the original 5K as well. They are amazing entities. We have used them for both new and refurbishment installations and they are compact enough to fit in very small spaces. I like that they can come into contact with insulation and are also good for wet areas like bathrooms. My builder/repairer was so impressed he ordered a few more for other jobs he does. Haven't tried the dimmers with this yet and can't say how long they will last, but the initial setup is great. And because of the way they install, you can easily replace them without the need for any tools!
