Review on Hamilton Beach True Plug Mount Eliminator by Ashley Baker

I was on a mission to eliminate that "cat smell" when I first walked into my apartment. Since my apartment is small, odors spread quickly. I always vacuum and clean, but I found the main culprit is just his tray. Now I clean his poop out of his tray every day but he still stinks. I also use hand deodorant and a hammer and it helps a little but he still needs some real help. And so the Hamilton Beach carbon filter was born. The first thing you need to know is that this thing is MASSIVE. I've included photos for reference, and they even block the light switch in my bathroom a bit (thankfully there's enough room in the switch to work properly). I definitely underestimated how big this filter was. However, this filter definitely works 100%. My cat's litter box is about 4-5 feet from the bathroom outlet that this filter plugs into and it eliminates odors well. Now when I go home I'm no longer overwhelmed by that initial cat smell before my nose gets used to it. It just smells good. It's also not very noisy at all! It's a low whisper to me, and the low hum doesn't bother me. As for the filter, I plan on replacing it every three months or as needed with carbon filters which you can buy cheap in bulk here at Revain. This is a more economical way to service replacement filters when the cost of stock filters is keeping you from purchasing them. This is a filter size/shape easy enough to cut out. This is an absolute must have for any pet or bathroom smell!
