I use these with M.2 Micron M600 512GB drives as SSD doesn't work on some motherboards. This drive enclosure allowed me to continue to use the M.2 drive effectively on whatever system I wanted to use it on. The build looks the same as any other SSD but allows for multiple M.2 drives of different sizes. Speeds like any other SSD. I was hoping that I wouldn't have a problem with the case being the bottleneck for the M.2 drive, and in fact everything was fine. I would recommend it if you want to use an M.2 SSD on a system without an M.2 slot.
