UPDATE: The design has changed. The new bottom metal plate design is very bad. rating down. Many of the photos, reviews, and product Q&A refer to the original design. This item with clips and ties is no longer available. I ordered a second one expecting the same product but got the worst version v2. Overall, we see a temperature drop of about 20 degrees in the server tower. Not compatible with many M.2 laptop slots, check if you have enough space. On my X11DAi3-N, this heatsink cannot be installed in the main M.2 slot because it interferes with the GPU. I use two of these on an M.2 expansion card. These drives will run about 20F lower after installing a heatsink. Be sure to remove the plastic from BOTH sides of the gum.
