Our pup is AFRAID of thunder and loud noises like fireworks. He takes a lot of medication because he has seizures. It actually helps. It's not 100% and he's still nervous, but it's definitely an improvement. Compression shirts do not work for all dogs. Luckily I have. We like this brand/model because it's easy to put on and take off and the compression is easy to adjust with the velcro strap down the middle. Overall a great product that works as advertised!
