They really are "extremely sharp "
Very smooth running, to the point that I wasn't initially sure they were cutting properly. My previous pair made a slight grinding noise that you could feel through your fingers, but not this one. The rounded tips sounded good as a safety feature, but actually make detail work a bit more difficult. One star deducted for this even though it says so in the description. The fine adjustment function of the hinge is excellent and very easy to use.
