
I switched to a MacBook Pro with USB-C ports. I was able to use a USB-C to USB adapter and now my Mac and two monitors work just fine. I also connected my old USB 2.0 hub to the USB 2.0 ports on the back panel. So far an elegant solution. A tip: There are no drivers in the box. You need to go to the Startech website and download the Displaylink drivers. Not hard to find for this model; good work. I'm relieved because I thought it wouldn't work, but it did!
