I'm glad I have this device, it works at a reasonable price. The only problem is that my wife calls me at her office every few weeks because the connected devices are failing. Just unplug and plug back in and you'll be fine for a while.

It was a bit tricky to get it working properly and I'm a techie. There was no CD, but updated drivers could easily be downloaded from the website. I wouldn't recommend it to any tech novice unless you have a tech friend who can help you. But once I set it up, it worked like a charm.

Bought for my Samsung screen and dual project for my laptop. It has all the extra wires and cables. None of the other articles I researched came with out-of-the-box features. Actually I found this station on Samsung website but it was not available on their website. VERY happy to finally find one that has so many ports and all the options you need!

I switched to a MacBook Pro with USB-C ports. I was able to use a USB-C to USB adapter and now my Mac and two monitors work just fine. I also connected my old USB 2.0 hub to the USB 2.0 ports on the back panel. So far an elegant solution. A tip: There are no drivers in the box. You need to go to the Startech website and download the Displaylink drivers. Not hard to find for this model; good work. I'm relieved because I thought it wouldn't work, but it did!

This document saved me. I needed a docking station for my laptop but couldn't find a good USB A docking station anywhere. After some research I found these by accident and decided to give them a try. It was the best purchase I've ever made. I installed the software and connected the dock and everything has been working fine ever since. I haven't had any problems with it and it's been almost a month since I started using it.

Tech support spent a lot of time helping me choose the best device for my needs. I had my own problem during installation and again the 24/7 customer support was quick and friendly. You can give them control of your computer, keyboard, and mouse so they can quickly identify your problem and fix it themselves.

This product showed a lot of promise, but due to my Lenovo Yoga 720 drivers, I was having annoying flickering that only stopped when nothing was happening on my external displays. Problem. They forced me to download and update Lenovo chipset, display and USB drivers, update Nvidia drivers and even try disabling one of the display adapters. Nothing helped. I don't think it's a docking station system issue. If this device's DisplayPort drivers work on your laptop/computer, I think you're done.

It's working, but my Jabra USB speaker, mouse, and keyboard are having issues. They separate and often need to be disconnected and reconnected. But in StarTech's defense, it seems almost all of these USB docking stations have issues. And for the price. I think it's still a good option.

This is an amazing device! I have two monitors (HDMI and DVI), keyboard, mouse and printer connected to it. I trade two different laptops with him. It is great! When it arrived with a driver disk and no download URL, I called support for a download site. The support is amazing.
