When I first got the docking station (to use with my Thinkpad laptop) I couldn't get everything to work properly. Some of the USBs worked, some didn't, and my monitor didn't work. Frustrated, I decided to put the dock aside for a few weeks and try again later. The second time I reinstalled the drivers from the Startech website (download the zip file). Very happy to report that everything is working now. I suspect that my previous attempt to install the drivers was unsuccessful and therefore nothing worked properly.
