This is a lovely pure silk scarf - 27" x 27", medium sized which makes it very versatile and can be tied in a variety of ways. The silk is colorful and perfect for fall. The printed images refer to old maps, ships and navigational instruments and are finely drawn with sharp edges. The fabric is light but not see-through; it feels durable and drapes beautifully. The silk weave is very fine, the fabric is smooth and smooth to the touch with a sheen characteristic of a satin weave. I have other Inaini silk scarves and am very happy with the quality of the fabric and workmanship and this one is no different. I didn't find any flaws in the fabric, narrow seams are neatly sewn, without protruding threads. The care label recommends dry cleaning or hand washing (do not machine wash, even on the delicate cycle). I've been fortunate enough to hand wash all of my silk in cold water with some baby shampoo and hang it to dry indoors where it won't get damaged by the sun. The scarf arrived perfectly compressed in a wax-sealed gift envelope - fun to open and would be great to give (or receive) as a gift. The envelope can later be used for storage. The current price of $19.99 is very reasonable for this gorgeous, well-made scarf.
