Review on Experience Ultimate Freedom 🎧 with Sony WI XB400 Wireless Headphones by Seo Jun ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

If you, like me, are not attracted by the current TWS format of most modern headphones, then this Sonya is an excellent choice. Yes, there are serious design flaws, but the main thing is the sound, it's on the level here. For +/- three thousand, this is the best choice. There are cooler options, such as the top-end headset from Huawei, but they are much more expensive. I can't comment on the quality of the signal. My signal is periodically interrupted, but there are a couple of nuances: 1. This most often occurs in residential areas. There, everyone in the apartment has wi-fi 2.4 GHz, the air is clogged, the headphones are not to blame. 2. If you turn off and turn on the bluetooth on the phone, the stuttering stops. Perhaps the phone is to blame, it is already old. 3. The phone has bluetooth 4.2, and the headphones have 5. They are of course compatible, but with the new version it should become more stable (probably). If I go broke on a new phone, I will add a review on this matter.

Pros
  • 1. Sound, sound and again sound. The declared Extra bass does not prevent other frequencies from opening in any way. Music sounds great regardless of genre. Movies too. Surprisingly, the ears sound cleaner and richer than Xiaomi's three-driver hybrids, even though there's only one speaker in each ear. Still, Sony has always been good at making sound. Audiophiles bypass, for them they make devices of a different price category. $3,000 wireless ears just can't sound better. 2. Battery - keeps cool. Discharged only once from hypothermia. 3. USB Type-C for charging. Yes, in 2022 this is still a plus, not a prerequisite. 4. The design creates the impression of a reliable one. The wires are thick, it’s not scary for them, besides, they don’t get confused.
Cons
  • Most likely, all the minuses are dictated by the price of the headphones. It is probably too difficult to make good sound and cool design at the same time. 1. Good thick wires turn into two thick sticks even in light cold. Someone already tell Sony that there are temperatures below zero, otherwise for several decades of their history they have not learned how to make wires for cold regions. We have winter here for six months, this is a critical problem. If you walk down the street and turn your head, the headphones take themselves out (partially solved with a hat). 2. Speakers without mesh. Even if you are not a pig and keep your ears clean, there is a risk that some dust from your pocket will get into the speaker. Seriously, I don’t understand why they saved on this, I thought that this doesn’t happen anymore. 3. The magnet that holds the headphones in the stowed position is frankly weak, and still does not know how to control music (although consultants at the Sony center assured the opposite). In the cold season, the magnet is completely useless, because. flaw #1 comes into play.
