Bought these tapes for work! Thanks to their compact size, they easily fit in my pocket! Day 1 - 1st bent at end of tape and not returned to normal position - 2nd tape measure broke about 6 days after tape returned to closed position, metal tip detached and tape was resealed. completely inside and cannot be removed! I am now recording my third and final tape in less than 2 weeks and I have no illusions that this will last long. Yes they are inexpensive, I don't expect them to fall down a 20ft ladder and survive, but I expected them to be able to perform the basic functions of a tape measure for well over a day or a week! piss off! As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
