Review on 🌞 Remington Solar Builder Series: Powerful 40-Watt Solar Attic Fan with Nighttime Operation and Weather Resilience by Ryan Lawrence

So very quiet! for building materials

The fan arrived as expected and was very well packaged. I unpacked the fan and tested it in the yard and the fan started up immediately. The facade of the house faces south, so I get full power on a sunny day. (Fan speed decreases when less direct sunlight hits it) I finally had a break in the heat to go up to the roof and install this fan. The instructions and videos are very helpful for the typical do-it-yourselfer. The tool list is very accurate. Installation took about 45 minutes with no additional wiring to connect to my home electrical circuit. (This model is a hybrid model, if it cannot draw power from the solar panel, it will be powered by the home grid when plugged in). I'll post an update with photos when she warms up again at Cenn Penn. We had warm (mid 80's), mostly dry weather. The fan works, the attic is ventilated and about 6-7 degrees cooler than without a fan. The house stays cooler in the morning and until noon. With the windows open, the temperature in the house is very close to the temperature of the outside air. Usually by 3pm and later the house is much warmer than outside without the help of an air conditioner. Does this fan pull cold air out of the basement and around the house, well, no. This is not a home fan. Does it ventilate and keep the air through the attic? yes yes it is
