This is a very cute and comfortable hat that will keep you warm on cold days. I like the oversized, casual look. I wear size 6 3/4 (size s) hats, they are quite large and stretchy enough, so I think they will fit most people. The fit could probably be a bit tighter for me but so far so good and no slipping. I ordered burgundy, very nice color, the knit design is interesting and well done. The outer part is 100% loose knit acrylic, very soft and medium thickness. The inner fabric is satin polyester - this helps me not to get tangled from wearing the hat as usual. But satin also feels slippery and supple, a characteristic of cheap 100% polyester, and also not very breathable, so while it's fine outside, I don't find the hat as comfortable when wearing it inside as I do too warm up quickly. Since I'm at home and on the road a lot, I often just leave my hat on all day when it's cold or windy. I live where the winters are mild and I think this hat is appropriate for my region, but it doesn't feel thick or heavy enough to wear outdoors for long periods in regions with extreme cold. It's not exactly a five star item but I love the hat and will wear it often. It's perfect for my morning walks. The current price of $11.99 seems reasonable, but a coupon for an additional 12% off is now available, making this hat a pretty good deal.
