They are fine for road use but the cap is a bit difficult to remove. I wouldn't let my kids take the lid off because it would spill everywhere. There's really nothing to grab to open it, so you'll have to wring it out until it pops out. It's also a bit difficult to use. It has a neck the size of a water bottle, but since it's a soft material, it's easy to squeeze or bend. It's nice and easy to clean and store, especially as it comes with a silicone cleaning brush, but in terms of use 3 stars. I wish it was functionally better. It's a really nice material that you can easily take with you.
