Unfortunately it is not compatible with my new 2017 MacBook Pro. The blue light just blinks, but the monitor stays dark. Have to return but seller doesn't respond. I bought the Insignia brand from Best Buy for $9.99 and it works great. UPDATE: Cable Matters contacted me and replaced the product with another (looks different). This product works great, I'm just not sure if it's shown here (it doesn't contain blue light and is white). In any case, the main thing is that the seller solved my problem. Many Thanks.
