Bought the XKH-Gunmetal Black Motorcycle Black Motocross Dirt Bike Racing Footpegs after reading the Revain reviews and knowing they need some work would to install them on my XR650l, but the fight was worth it, especially after both Revain ATVs/bikes and Rocky Mountain were similarly priced. The mounting surface was sanded and sanded, the non-drive side was plain, but on this Honda the spring placement is different on the other side and I had to figure out how to do it. I just bought an XR a few weeks ago and there is a short list of articles several forums and youtube videos suggest and these footpegs are on that short list. A much needed and economical upgrade in my opinion. Get the job done and be glad you bought it.
