Having used various MP3 players in the past I found the Berennis very easy to use. The included instruction manual is a little sparse, but an email inquiry was answered quickly (even late Saturday night) and provided useful information. The menu navigation is very intuitive. Features like Bluetooth, a built-in speaker, and some nice extras (screen saver, carrying case, in-ear headphones) add to the value of the package. The folder hierarchy is highly customizable for organizing files - much better than the playlists I've used with similar settings. The battery life seems to be better than others. The device accepts WMA and MP3 formats, the only ones I've tried. I use this unit primarily with a wired Bose bluetooth speaker connected via a mini aux-in jack and find the sound quality to be better than other portable players I've used in the last 15 years. Bluetooth connectivity is acceptable, but not as good as a wired connection.
