I saw a suggestion about this on Facebook and thought "this might be interesting". understatement of the year. It was much cheaper than I expected and I was surprised by the quality of the product. Canvas is strong and durable, and yes, it's canvas, not paper. It retains its stickiness even though it took me a long time to complete the project. The results are much better than I expected. I'm working on the first image, it's in the works and I've finished "Starry Night". It's easy to do once you get the hang of it, and the results are impressive. I gave them as gifts and everyone I gave them to loves them. Easy to use, although they don't come with instructions (I just googled them and pasted them below). If you're wondering how it works but don't want to google: take a plastic pencil, apply pink wax to both ends of the pencil, use your fingers or a tabletop to create a flat tip (don't use too much Wax, it will stick to the rhinestones and make a mess) ) Put a few beads in the plastic tray provided (don't go crazy), a few of the same color to make a small area. Gently shake the bowl back and forth so most of the beads twist into the tabs, flat side down. Using your finger or a tool, slide the beads into rows. You can then pick up individual beads one at a time with the end of the pin, or three at a time, forming a nice neat row with the wide end. Remove a corner of the paper to reveal a small work area. Glue the beads to the paper in the appropriate places. Repeat the process. Keep tweezers nearby for tricky beads and misplaced beads. Relax, don't be nervous. It doesn't have to be perfect, it has to be fun and relaxing.
