Vertical line in the center of the screen

I had two problems with this monitor. The most noticeable thing is the vertical bar in the middle of the screen. For this reason I am returning the monitor. Another issue is the slow response when waking up from sleep mode. It's so slow that Windows doesn't think it's gone anymore and my other monitors become the primary monitor. I have to turn it off and on again for it to come back. This is the first Asus product I've had a problem with.
