The key fob works but the instructions to connect it to my truck were wrong 1) Turn on the key (but doesn't work) and let the system checks run for 4 seconds and no more than 10. Press after 4 seconds the panic button and release both at the same time. The vehicle should beep to indicate it is in programming mode. 3) If using a new key fob: Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time. A beep will indicate that the fob is connected. If you don't hear a beep within a few seconds, press and hold the panic button while continuing to press the lock and unlock buttons. Listen for the beep and release all three beeps. 4) Turn off the key to exit programming mode. Now the keyfobs should work. I had to try and find the above sequence and get it working, but mine is working now. Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 2002.
