First of all I would like to point out that the shape of this back scratcher has to be the most unusual device I have ever seen. It has a curve with small plastic bristles that are completely useless as far as I can tell. Now for the rest of the review…. The back scratcher is angled so the entire back can be scratched at one angle or another. Hard plastic "bristles" that scratch skin - they are VERY HARD! If you have thin skin or even use this to scratch repeatedly under high pressure, both the stiffness and hardness of the plastic bristles HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF TEARING YOUR SKIN OR REALLY IF REUSED IN THE SAME AREA WHEN USING MEDIUM TO HIGH PRESSURE STRESSING A LAYER (LAYER) OF YOUR SKIN THAT CAUSES YOUR SKIN A GRINDING TYPE OF TEARING! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR PURCHASE OR USE ON YOUNG CHILDREN OR OLDER CHILDREN! When used properly this item can do the right job as a back scratcher, however I would also like to point out that if NOT used properly this item can cause skin damage in adults using this product. The hard plastic bristles are utterly useless, and using this device with moderate to heavy pressure can instead be viewed as a form of torture device as it can scrape layers of skin and cause chafing wounds. I personally do NOT consider this particular device The first device should be safe for children or especially older people with thinner skin! BENEFITS - THE ANGLES WORK TO SCRATCH YOUR BACK - THE PLASTIC IS SO HARD AND THE BRISTLES ARE EXTREMELY RIGID, YOU RISK YOUR SKIN IF YOU USE ANY PRESSURE BUT LIGHT GENTLE PRESSURE!
