I have already used this pump to evacuate and charge a car air conditioner. It worked well and the suction was better than expected for 1/3 HP. No oil is supplied, so I recommend you buy vacuum pump oil in advance. It was supplied with fittings for R 22 and R 134a and other refrigerants. I've been using an old compressor cut out of a refrigerator to evacuate air conditioners for 20 years, so this compressor is a real treat.
