Review on ☕ Kavako Stainless Steel Pour Over Coffee Dripper: Paperless, Reusable Filter for Osaka, Chemex, Hario, Bodum and More by Roberta Gonia

Seems to work: coffee, tea and espresso

I bought this as an eco-friendly alternative to constantly buying paper filters, thinking it would work with my Hario V60 2 drip coffee mug. It comes up and pours, but because of the thick lid at the bottom of the cone, which doesn't filter it, the coffee drips to the side. If the ceramic mug is directly above the cup being poured, that's not too much of a problem, although you won't be able to see how much coffee you're pouring unless you have a see-through cup. The problem is when I make more than one cup of coffee and use the drip into carafe method. The Hario system typically involves placing a ceramic mug on a plastic holder and underneath is a decanter with a mesh stand to catch accidental drips. When you use this filter in this system with the thick lid and drippers you have to be careful that the drips actually end up in the carafe or fly straight to the side. I've had two or three accidents when I wasn't paying close attention to the pouring as the drips went everywhere except the carafe. So it works. I'd rather have my coffee in my cup than on my counter.
