Review on Car Radio Stereo 10 Inch Touch Screen For Jeep Wrangler 2011-2014 With Apple CarPlay Andriod Auto by Chris Crisler

I will be the first to say this is a great radio. I installed this in my 2014 Wrangler JK and must say i was impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. This completely blew my 6.2 inch Android radio, that it replaced, out of the water.To explain the install, it is a 3 piece design that completely changes the gauge surround, top tray, and middle portion. The fit and finish, if you are a perfectionist, is going to be about 8.5 out of 10. This is new molded plastic that is retrofitted to a press fit. The hvac vents must be removed and installed into the new dash setup. It requires some patience and time for the best fit and finish. I'd like to mention the new mold for the gauges needed the "production mold" cut out. (as seen in pictures) Those with a dremel and a cut off wheel should not view this as a serious problem. All wiring is complete and is plug and play. This is good being that you do not receive installation instructions. In addition to the wiring, they even include a small screwdriver and pry tool for proper installation. Total install time was about three hours.USB, Radio, bluetooth, Wifi hotspot, and play store apps all work flawlessly. It also allows for a customizable background and start up image, giving the unit a premium feel for a third of the price. The display is crisp, vibrant, and grandiose. The audio also has a nice equalizer to fiddle with and dial in. I have a JBL 12" Subwoofer and I highly recommend the combination. i also utilized the back up camera and it works flawlessly (Connect green wire and plug yellow RCA done.) This does not have apple car play, android auto, or CD player however, you can purchase the dongle from Awesafe to expand platforms. The steering wheel controls work perfect right out of the box. No need for extra programming. All around i am very satisfied with this radio and would highly recommend. 5/5
