, I recently started riding my motorbike again. I used to pay big bucks for Arai and Shoei helmets, now these helmets are $1000. This time I was looking for value, let's face it what saves your head is the foam padding in the helmet. Each helmet ends after 1 fall. The rule of thumb is to change your helmet every 5 years. Will you do that with a $1000 helmet? Anyway, about this helmet: it's light but strong, it fits well - a little stiff at the edges for me around the forehead at first, but after a few days it's worn and comfortable; I like the integrated sun visor; I like the easy-to-release chin strap. Cons: The rubber respirator kept falling out and I lost it - I contacted AHR and asked for a replacement; Because of the good quick release chin strap, there is no D-ring to lock into a bike helmet lock (but I prefer a quick release). Overall - love it so much I ordered 1 for my wife.
