This little green jewel is soft but strong! I used to only use a thimble when sewing and tying by hand. Now I use two: a hard plastic one on my middle finger and this little green gem on my index finger to stretch the needle. I will sew until my fingers fall off and my hands start hurting, but since I started using rubber finger attachments my hands don't hurt anymore. The rubber tips grip the needle with a light touch while preventing needle sticks. I've bought about a dozen of these and am stocking up because I never want to be without them again!
