Also too small for all fingers.

Very, very, too small for all fingers except the little finger. I'm afraid to wear them because I'll definitely tear them up in no time. I sew a lot and knit a lot. Sigh. They are too tight to wear on other fingers.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great for sewing on a quilt

I like to use small applique needles (#10) for hand sewing the wrong side of a quilt. However, it can be difficult to grab that little needle and get it through all the layers (especially along the seams). Bohn fingertips eliminate this problem. They give the needle a good grip and I can sew comfortably with them for longer.

Thin and tears easily.

This might work for a small project, but not if you intend to use them all the time. I hand quilted the 36" x 106" bed rails. I went through FOUR of them before the project was 1/3 complete. They are very comfortable but very thin and tear easily. I've since completed a project using Swingline fingertips and only needed one so I can use them for my next quilting project as well. They're under $4 for a box of 12, so a much better deal by all accounts. I wouldn't waste your money on that.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Simply the best fingertip and thimble helper!

This little green jewel is soft but strong! I used to only use a thimble when sewing and tying by hand. Now I use two: a hard plastic one on my middle finger and this little green gem on my index finger to stretch the needle. I will sew until my fingers fall off and my hands start hurting, but since I started using rubber finger attachments my hands don't hurt anymore. The rubber tips grip the needle with a light touch while preventing needle sticks. I've bought about a dozen of these and am…
