Just what an elderly relative (with wifi) needs

I bought this frame as an early Father's Day gift for my dad who turns 81 this year. He loves being surrounded by photos of his children and grandchildren. He's taped them all over the kitchen, and the walls and cabinets are cluttered. In less than 20 minutes we had the frame set up and connected, and he was emailing himself his favorite photos from his iPhone6. He enjoyed watching his favorite movies on the big screen of this 15 inch Pix Star frame. When he realized he could print "captions” that describe a photo in the subject line of any email, he was hooked. Then I wrote to all my siblings and a couple of grandkids who have phones and they immediately started sending him pictures. He loved it. We spent some time tweaking the transitions and intervals, and he learned to look at old photos we put on the SD card. He's a little hesitant about this part (moving the slideshow from his "inbox" email to the SD card), but he'll get there. The only suggestion I would like is to put words on the remote control buttons in addition to the symbols. He's not very good at understanding what each sign means, but then again, he'll get it. So often I give him gifts that just don't work (too technical for him or not quite what he wants). But this shot was PERFECT. I would only recommend giving the gift in person if it is for an elderly relative so an adjustment can be made for them.
