PITA installation but they have worked great for over 2 years and over 35,000 miles in a 2016 VW Golf sports car. Flat and normal handling when loaded with camping gear, scuba gear, etc. Previously, the rear end gave noticeably even with a heavy Costco load. On the first hike with a full load (all our camping gear + climbing gear and only 2 adults in the car) the sag was so bad that the headlights were aimed too high and that was without exceeding the vehicle weight limit - stock springs were tuned for a sporty ride and comfort, no full load. These bags changed everything and I highly recommend them.
