Great airbags for VW JSW 2011

Works great, I've had these airbags fitted for a few weeks and they still inflate pretty well. I kept the pressure around 15psi at normal load and the pressure was held. I increased the pressure to about 25 when towing a trailer on my 2011 JSW and they worked fine with no issues. I've only checked the pressure twice and so far so good, I use a small bike hand pump as it doesn't take long to bleed it when needed. Hope they last long.

Good fit and quality

Installation on the 2011 Jetta TDI sedan was pretty easy. The suspension is very different from that of the Jetta station wagon, but still fits in the coil. Update: I've driven many miles with these bags, they've done a lot of towing with my Jetta in a camper that I know peak loads with a loaded trunk, and these airbags even cope well with the dreaded roads of Louisiana . I could not have made this trip without her; The original suspension only sagged with a passenger, now it stays taut when…

Exactly what I wanted and needed!

Installs on 2006 (MKV) Rabbit. I actually moved up to the Tiguan springs because the suspensions are interchangeable. This gave me another half inch of height on top of what the Tiguan's springs had given me. Only 4 stars as I haven't loaded the car yet and had time to pump them up. The rear end is a bit stiffer and more stable. My next hike is coming up so hopefully I'll update my rating to 5 stars. By the way, remove the springs for installation. It's still PITA but saves you some heartache…

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Quick start guide

Great for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

PITA installation but they have worked great for over 2 years and over 35,000 miles in a 2016 VW Golf sports car. Flat and normal handling when loaded with camping gear, scuba gear, etc. Previously, the rear end gave noticeably even with a heavy Costco load. On the first hike with a full load (all our camping gear + climbing gear and only 2 adults in the car) the sag was so bad that the headlights were aimed too high and that was without exceeding the vehicle weight limit - stock springs were…

  • Excellent overall performance

What an elevator! - Replacement parts

I really needed to upgrade my rear end on my 2013 TDI Sportvan. I couldn't afford a new set of springs at the moment and my van was flown many years ago. Read a few people who have used them and thought I would give it a try. The best price and good reviews from other sports car owners. Impressed that they fit well and I didn't have to take anything apart to install them. Be sure to suck out all the air first until it's flat. You can fold it up and clip it in the springs as shown in my photos…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
