Disappointing! The memory foam is only about 1/2 inch thick and is bonded to regular polyurethane foam with a layer of cooling gel about 1/8 inch thick. I just received it so I will rate it again after using it. 90 days feel-good guarantee! also has a nice travel bag with a handle, next to the washable bag that you keep on it during use.
