I hesitated because similar products that do not fold cost more than twice as much and it really looked like they were cheap. But I renovated a room that I don't care about, so I didn't want to buy more expensive furniture. This stool really surprised me. It has more storage space than the non-folding one I bought for my main room. And it's cheaper. And it wasn't that hard to put together! Not flimsy, fabric seems durable, accurate description and colors. It's not that pretty. But I knew that from the photos and didn't mind such a repair. Slight exhaust smell, dissipates quickly and since it was in an unused room it didn't bother me (you can leave it outside for a day with the lid open if you want to use it straight away at home). No other possible downsides as far as I'm concerned!
