Review on 🔓 Unlock Fun and Skill-building with Melissa & Doug Latches Wooden Activity Board by Robert Hardin

We bought this for our 18 month old son. My son spends a lot of time locking, unlocking, opening and closing all the doors and he seems to enjoy it a lot. He was able to figure out how to unlock them all fairly quickly, but is less keen on blocking them. It is made of wood but the design on the outside is printed on paper that is glued to the wood. The hinges and locks appear to be of good quality and durable. I deduct two stars and rate it "is ok" because the paper has already detached from the wood in some places and was even torn at one corner. This item arrived sealed in cellophane showing no signs of damage so I suspect this is a quality control issue on the part of the manufacturer. My little one doesn't mind the paper peeling off as it's really a cosmetic thing but I would keep that in mind if buying it as a gift as I see several others complaining of the same issue.
