Review on Acme Sponge Chamois DCS60 Cleaning by Tracey Bacon

The product does a great job on walls and trim to remove soot. My house was damaged by defective gas wells and the whole house was filled with black soot. Soot is simply removed with the product. This will not work if the wall or paneling was previously damp or cleaned with something damp or wet. I made this mistake and the areas need to be primed with Kilnz or First Coat to cover. I wasn't sure about the product based on the mixed reviews but I'm very satisfied and have ordered about 50 more. You should be able to reuse the sponge, but I haven't tried cleaning and reusing them yet. They get dirty quickly if you have a lot of soot.
