I wasn't sure if it would fit the bill as a lot of the things you buy these days look absolutely amazing on pictures but the item delivered turns out to be cheap chinese junk. That was not the case with these. I don't know where they were made but they are heavy duty metal and we have used them several times and they are great. The cheese melted and the melted cheese hit the metal and hardened and I was afraid that if I used something hard to remove the cheese they would be scratched so I put them in the dishwasher and they came clean in one cycle ( at the highest level). but it worked great). They're obviously meant for tacos, but they're also great for making dishes you flip, lick fish fingers, and so on. Just place them on a wire rack, pop them in the oven, and instead of turning them over, just flip them to the other side. I haven't done it yet, but it's worth a try. :0)
